Meet Dennis Grumm - CEO/Founder/Engineer

Dennis Grumm is a visionary entrepreneur and mechanical engineer with a passion for pushing the boundaries of design innovation. Armed with a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, where he also minored in German Language, Grumm has crafted a unique way to blend his technical skills with entrepreneurial spirit.

Grumm's foundation in mechanical engineering was laid at Michigan Technological University from 2001 to 2005. Here, he honed his problem-solving skills and developed a deep understanding of engineering fundamentals. After graduating, Grumm joined the Campbell Grinder Company in Spring Lake, MI, as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Over the course of a decade, he rose to the helm of the company's Research and Development department, spearheading the design and development of high-precision CNC grinding systems for the aerospace industry. Grumm's modular approach to design revolutionized the industry, enhancing performance, marketability, and manufacturing efficiency.

In 2014, Grumm founded Oktober Can Seamers. Oktober disrupted the market dominated by large, expensive canning machines by introducing compact, affordable can seamers. Under Grumm's leadership, Oktober's seamers became a global sensation, enabling small businesses from all sectors to package their products with precision and efficiency. Grumm's engineering acumen is showcased in his meticulous approach to design, evident in Oktober's robust product lineup. His experience in engineering, coupled with a keen eye for detail, ensures that Oktober's seamers meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
